About Us

Halogen Guides publishes independent and objective lifestyle advice for affluent consumers. The company is two years old, employs over 20 people and has offices in San Francisco and Orlando.

The Halogen Guides network currently consists of Jets, Travel and Real Estate sites devoted to taking the guesswork out of high-end purchases. Additional Halogen Guides will launch throughout 2008.

Founded as Helium Report in 2005, the company is led by Greg Shove, a veteran of America Online, and Jamie Cheng, a former senior manager at online retailer RedEnvelope. The lead investor and chairman is Jim Kohlberg. Halogen Guides is privately owned. Read more about our team here.
